Is there any down time?

No. There is no downtime. It is recommended that you do not apply makeup on the day of your treatment. A Broad Spectrum sun block is also required.

Does it hurt?

No HydraFacial is a very comfortable treatment to have done. It does differ from a traditional facial treatment but it has its own relaxing elements to it.

Will it help with my fine lines?

Fine lines are improved in two ways:

Firstly the deep exfoliation action of the HydraFacial tip removes dead skin which instantly increases the rate at which the skin cells turnover.
Secondly because of the unique level of hydration provided by the serums the skin is instantly plumped allowing for the reduction of visible fine lines.

Will it reduce my pigmentation?

The action of the Alpha-hydroxy acids in the serums can have a lightening effect on pigmentation.

Will it improve my open pores?

Yes. Together the exfoliating action of the HydraFacial tip and the deep cleansing action of the Lactic Acid and Salicylic acid open pores over time reduce in size leaving the skin looking more refined and smooth.

What is HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is the next generation of microdermbrasion. It has the ability to remove compacted dead skin cells at a deeper level than any other treatment available on the market today. Skin cells that fail to shed can cause a host of problems in the skin from, congestion, breakouts, sensitivity, and can leave the skin dull and irritated. Will you see the results after one treatment?

Yes. You will see visible results after a single treatment. The skin will feel more refined and radiant. However for the treatment of specific conditions a series of at least 6 treatments will be required. Maintance of one treatment every 4-6 weeks is also recommended to maintain the health of the skin.

How long is the treatment?

The treatment time is 60 min. As part of your treatment we bathe the skin in Red LED light to allow the serums to penetrate more deeply. LED light plays an important role in increasing skin cell turnover. LED is also suitable for all skin colours.
